He was actually the only villain I was excited to see the entire year.
And what did Marvel decide to do with him?
A joke. An actor. They turned him into a bloody joke.
Iron man 3 marked a sad sad day in superhero villainy.
Update: i just got a message telling me to understand that Killian was in fact the Mandarin.
To that i say: No.
This guy Killian, is an entrepreneur of an MNC dealing in bio-organic science who weaponises them.
The Mandarin is an ancient chinese wanderer who found the 10 rings of power and harnessed their powers to dominate the world. Possessing powers that are seemingly boundless and of a mystical origin made him Iron Man’s greatest foe and Tony Stark’s most dangerous enemy.
Big. Huge. Difference.
